Privacy Policy

Routed (“Routed,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

We collect: name, email, phone, address, ZIP, service request details, browser/IP data, geolocation, audio recordings of bridged calls, and inferred data (request quality and urgency).

2. How We Use Your Information

To connect your request with one local contractor, verify contact information, prevent fraud, capture proof of consent under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), resolve disputes, improve our services, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Who We Share Your Information With

• The matched contractor: name, phone, email, address, and project details — shared only so they can fulfill the service you requested.
• Service providers (Telnyx, Stripe, Supabase, ActiveProspect, Resend): limited data needed to provide their service to us.
• Government agencies: as required by law.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or to unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing. When you submit a request and consent to be contacted, we share your details with the single local contractor we match to you, solely so they can fulfill the service you asked for. Sharing your request with your matched contractor in this way may be considered a “sale” or “share” under certain state privacy laws (e.g., California); you may opt out at any time (see Section 6).

4. Text Messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number and consent, we send you text messages only about the request you submitted — confirming we received it, connecting you with your matched local pro, and following up about that request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

We do not sell or share your mobile opt-in information, your mobile phone number, or your consent to receive text messages with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile number is shared only with the one contractor matched to your request, solely to fulfill that request — never for third-party marketing.

5. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise, email privacy@routed.com.

6. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, email privacy@routed.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.”

7. Retention

Consent records: at least 5 years (TCPA-required). Service request records: up to 5 years. Call recordings: up to 7 years. Account/transaction records: up to 10 years for tax purposes.

8. Security

HTTPS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, access controls, service provider agreements, and regular security audits.
